The Glashütte watch combines the classic three-pin, one-line display with a manually-wound movement with official certification from the Observatory. From 6 am to 6 pm, the small dots on the hour and night display are white, and from 6 pm to 6 am, the dots are black. Glashütte watches and other outstanding masterpieces of the brand will be on display at World Brand Piazza 2013 presented by Prince Jewellery and Watches.
Glashütte’s original Senator Chronometer Regulator watch combines the classic three-needle, one-line display with an official manual-winding movement certified by the Observatory. The blue steel minute hand is located at the center of the dial. Above and below the minute hand are a small hour hand display and a small second hand. Around the dial is a delicately drawn minute circle, black engraved and plated, and Roman numerals on the hour dial. The brand’s iconic large calendar window is placed at 3 o’clock, perfectly integrated into the overall design of the dial. From 6 am to 6 pm, the small dots on the hour and night display are white, and from 6 pm to 6 am, the dots are black.
The Senator Chronometer Regulator watch has a 42mm red gold case that sparkles. The function of the watch is driven by its own manual-wound movement 58-01, based on the 58-04 movement, which allows the minute hand and the second hand to be accurately matched. The watch’s novel seconds reset device makes it easier for the wearer to adjust the accurate time. When the crown is pulled out, the time operation will stop, the small second hand will automatically return to zero, and at the same time, the minute hand will jump to the next full minute hand scale. When turning the crown to adjust the time, the minute hand always stops at the full minute hand scale to ensure the correct relationship between the second and minute hands. The power reserve indicator is placed at 9 o’clock on the dial to show the remaining energy of the manually wound movement.
Senator Chronometer Regulator watches are officially certified by the Observatory and are certified by the German Calibration Service (DKD). Through the sapphire crystal glass on the case back, you can admire the elegant movement. The most striking feature of the brand’s own 58-04 movement is not only its two-tone carved balance plate, but also the barrel, winding balance, Planetary gear system driving power reserve display. In addition, the movement’s unique beveled edges, polished stainless steel parts, blue steel screws, gooseneck trimmer and three-quarters of the brand’s signature trim stripes can be easily viewed.
Glashütte’s original Senator Chronometer Regulator watches and other outstanding masterpieces of the brand will be publicly displayed at World Brand Piazza 2013 presented by Prince Jewellery and Watches from September 4 to 8 this year, collectors, connoisseurs and watch hobby This must not be missed.
