In 2015, NOMOS launched the first neomatik movement (DUW 3001), which is amazing with its thin and mass-produced characteristics. With the birth of the second neomatik calibre DUW 6101, NOMOS set a new standard for calendar displays. At the Baselworld Watch & Jewellery Fair 2018, the brand injected this movement into the new NOMOS Ludwig neomatik 41 date watch and created an exclusive custom calendar display design for it. The new calendar is set at the 4 hour mark, which not only means aesthetic innovation, the calendar display can also be easily and quickly adjusted in both directions.
Different from the Tangente neomatik 41 Update watch launched at the same time, although the calendar display is also located on the edge of the dial, but this time at 4 o’clock, it is elegantly combined with Roman numerals to present the overall aesthetic.
The 41 mm stainless steel case is polished and polished for a more rounded and refined look.
The narrow stainless steel lugs have a slight arc, making the watch closer to the wrist and ergonomically set.
The stainless steel crown engraved with the ‘NOMOS’ brand logo is designed with a non-slip texture, which has a first-class feel and is more convenient to debug.
Following the classic dial design of the NOMOS brand, the elegant Roman hour markers and the blue steel small three hands are more simple and exquisite, and the time indication is clear and intuitive. The calendar display window is located at the 4 o’clock position of the watch, adding a quartz function to the watch.
The special features of the new neomatik date movement include its beautiful sanding and decoration, such as the gold-plated embossed carving on the automatic rotor, which can be seen through the back cover.
In addition, Tangente neomatik 41 Update and Orion neomatik 41 date are also released. From mid-May, these three watches will be on sale at designated retailers. If you like them, you might as well pay more attention.
